Victim Versus Victor: Often, we cannot help what happens to us. But our actions determine our deliverance from it. God puts the supernatural on the natural of our effort. There was this guy once whose house was located right next to a riverbank. One day the waters rose unexpectedly. There was little he could do about it. He could have spent all his time clearing the waters back away from the door. Instead, he chose to pray. At the end of the flood, the man was alright because of his trust in the Lord. Maybe his stuff was not. He would still survive to walk away another day. As a result, the waters never touched Gods blessing on his life.
