And David dances
Still before the Lord
And what the Fathers house is toward.
Souls saved still from out the fall
And there the King of Heaven held us all.
In the shadow of the fall
It was the Saviour held us all.
For if you had seen him dancing still
You would have not thought it shameful still
There until the Kingdom come
And in the Fathers house made One
Redeemed there still from out the fall
It was the Saviour held us all
Though not alone was he
Nor trapped in time as these
Of what we want to please
There from out of time had been
It was the Saviour held us then
Saved from there of then
Though with the mighty thunder of the waves
And there her waves were stayed the same
As trapped within his Name
Though mighty as the sea
And time had kept of these
And what we had to please
As what he asked of these
It was that David dances still before the Lord
And there the Fathers house is toward
As of himself had swored.
Himself his sure reward.
As what his life was for and what his mercies toward and what his grace is for
There from out the shadow of the fall it was the Saviour held us all.
There by water and the blood and himself it was the Most observed of him who lived and served.
