There the Shadow and the Wise
And there from there who kept the spies
A tried out in his name likewise.
And who should seeking go
But who we want our seeds to show
And what had needed know
Save of the God who kept below
Let every answered prayer
An always refuge there
Be there as in your sight besides
And always there who kept the Wise
And built up in your throne likewise.
There should seeking so
And all we want to know
For you were sovereign here below
As on earth should show
And what to us should know but the God below
Who walks with us besides
And walks and talks the Wise
Always in his Day likewise
Though not a judgement there besides
But who had always been so Wise
A needed still besides
And a needed us likewise
God of Earth below
There in Heaven show
Of your will to know
Where so then as should we go
But where You walked below
And where in Heaven know
But where You walked below
And what to us should also show
Save of Your house to know.
